Anthony Davis ‘ spectacular comeback for the Dallas Mavericks was shortened by a non-contact injury during their 116-105 victory over the Houston Rockets.
In a massive industry involving NBA All-Star Luka Doncic, Davis, 31, moved to Dallas last week from the Los Angeles Lakers.
Despite supporters protesting Doncic’s move to the Dodgers before the game, Davis scored 26 factors with 16 touchdowns and seven assists before his departure.

The Mavericks were 65-48 ahead at half-time, but as Houston rallied in the second quarter, their prospect was cut by two points.
With a fifth straight defeat against their opponents, Dallas regained control with two three-pointers from Naji Marshall and two points from Irving in the closing fifteen minutes.
Davis after played down his wound, telling reporters:” My leg got small, like a tiny spasm.
I returned to try to remove the tension while still dealing with the chest pain. But I managed to release it up, and it’s nothing serious. I’m okay.”
Williams ‘ Lakers deal rescinded
The Los Angeles Lakers stated after their 124-117 victory over the Indiana Pacers that their business for Mark Williams had been canceled.
A package for Williams was agreed late on Wednesday evening, before Thursday’s business deadline.
However, the Lakers were unsatisfied with some aspects of Williams ‘ physical examination and decided to rescind the trade.
No team was able to alter the contract because it was reached so close to the industry deadline, so it was rather canceled.
Williams played in a little more than 40 % of the Hornets ‘ activities during the last two-and-a-half times, playing 85 times out of a possible 212.
He had been predicted by the Lakers that he would complete his physical examination, but he will continue to play for the Hornets.
The Hornets remarked,” We made the difficult decision to move Mark after the other group aggressively pursued him.”
” We have always held great regard for Mark’s skills, work ethics, and personality. We are delighted to see him return to our squad as a powerful starter at the starting centre.
His return strengthens our crew, and we anticipate seeing how much of an effect he will have both on and off the court.”
