The Lions are hiring former Texas Longhorns RB Tashard Choice as their new running backs manager, according to . At Georgia Tech, where Gibbs played before transferring to Alabama, Choice was Detroit RB Jahmyr Gibbs ‘ running backs coach.
In order to make room for Choice, the Lions are replacing Scottie Montgomery as their secretary head manager. The WR coaching position that began when Antwaan Randle El left for the Bears has now been filled by Montgomery.
After graduating from Georgia Tech, Choice ran up for a number of years in the NFL. Since 2016, he has been providing training at the college level.
