Shane Lowry’s The Bay defeated Rory McIlroy’s Boston Common Golf Club to conclude the Tomorrow’s Golf League ( TGL ) triple-header on Monday in Florida.

McIlroy was competing alongside former Masters champion Hideki Matsuyama and American Ryder Cup commander Keegan Bradley in the domestic competition along with Tiger Woods.

However, Wyndham Clark’s final-hole eagle secured The Bay’s 5-4 triumph after his Boston team had already lost for the second time in the opening season.

Ludvig Aberg was the Bay’s top performer less than 24 days after his PGA Tour victory at the Californian Genesis Invitational.

They had previously defeated Atlanta Drive GC 6-5. The Bay had won three of the previous four holes to take control of their second match.

Atlanta, which had formerly unbeaten, rallied, but Justin Thomas ‘ eagle putt for extra only fell short.

In the first match of the day, Atlanta had beaten Los Angeles by the same ratio, after time.

On the 14th, LA’s Tommy Fleetwood drained a 17-foot fairway down the hill to put the game in time, but Thomas outperformed Sahith Theegala.

In the nearest-the-pin problem, Patrick Cantlay’s game finished closer than Theegala’s to cover success.

Tiger Woods will make his first appearance in action on Wednesday ( 00:00 GMT ) since his mother’s passing earlier this month when his Jupiter Links Golf Club takes on New York Golf Club.
