The Oklahoma Broadband Office and internet service providers won’t get gathering on Friday as planned for the developing of support in five south main Oklahoma Counties.
The Office was informed that the Friday service has been rescheduled for April 18 in Konawa due to the severe cold weather, frost, and snow that resulted. The ceremony was planned for the developing of development projects in Hughes, Lincoln, McIntosh, Okfuskee and Seminole regions.

These initiatives, which are among the 175 that are funded by the ARPA State and Local Governmental Recovery Fund and ARPA Capital Projects Fund, will significantly increase Oklahoma’s rural internet access. More than 70, 000 homes and businesses in 57 of the country’s 77 districts may be connected through provides administered by the Oklahoma Broadband Office.
